Shrewsbury, MA - Michael Jewell, executive vice president of North Shore - Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage has been appointed as Chairman of the 2006 Board of Directors of MLS Property Information Network, Inc. (MLS PIN). He succeeds Conrad M. Allen of RE/MAX One in Webster.
Jewell began his real estate career in 1971, and has since held real estate broker licenses in six states. During this time, he has also held numerous positions including general sales manager of a large New England firm, national director of training and education for a national real estate franchise, sales manager of a number of real estate offices and residential sales associates. He has been a participant of MLS PIN since its inception in 1997 and has served on the board of directors for the past five years and as vice-chairman most recently in 2005.
In addition, Jewell was responsible for the development of a national multi-faceted video sales program produced by the Realtor's National Marketing Institute, responsible for the development and implementation of a national marketing system for use by real estate companies and sales associates for a major real estate franchise, was a senior management instructor for the Realtor's National Marketing Institute and authored a book on real estate sales training for sales managers. He has earned the Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager and the Certified Residential Specialist designations from the National Realtor's Marketing Institute.
An Amesbury resident, Jewell earned his BS degree in Business Administration from Wittenberg University.
