MLS Property Information Network, Inc. Welcomes
North Bristol County Association of REALTORS® to its coverage
In
a positive step toward one MLS for all of Massachusetts the MLS Property
Information Network (MLS PIN) is pleased to announce the addition of the North Bristol County area to its coverage effective January 1, 2007. The North Bristol
County Association of REALTORS® voted recently to dissolve its current MLS and
to participate in MLS PIN as its official multiple listing service.
The extended coverage for MLS PIN's current customers will include Berkley, Dighton, Norton, Raynham, Rehoboth, and Taunton. Participation in MLS PIN will
allow customers of the North Bristol County Association of REALTORS® the
benefit of sharing listings with more than 30,000 real estate professionals
throughout New England, as well as access to a database of more than 65,000
properties for sale. Participation in the service also means access to more
than one million off-market listings, and assessment, tax roll, and deed
transfers. Other significant benefits include property updates to the national
website REALTOR.com®, real-time property matches to buyers and sellers, and
complimentary listing transfers to third party newspapers and websites with use
of MLS PIN's in-house developed system, H3MLS.
"We believe participation in MLS PIN is in the best interest of our
members, and we thank them for the support of our decision. We look forward to
offering one multiple listing service and therefore relieving them of the
financial burden of belonging to two services in order to conduct their
everyday business," said Joan DeCosta, Executive Officer of The North
Bristol County Association of REALTORS®.
MLS PIN is a privately REALTOR® owned multiple listing service. It is the
largest MLS in New England, and one of the top ten in the nation providing
services to more than 90% of Massachusetts, as well as areas of Connecticut, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island.
"We are all very excited to welcome the North Bristol County Real Estate
Professionals to our MLS, and will provide local training, support, office
visits, and many other services needed to help them succeed," said MLS PIN
President and Chief Executive Officer, Kathy Condon.
